Hi all!

Here is a recap of some topics that we have discussed during our last
meeting (entire notes are here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/WoMoz/Meetings/2010-01-21_Planning_Meeting) and
that we should start working on :) :

* Concerning the WoMoz blog:
We still have the same issue as before -> there is neither enough
content nor enough people wirting posts on the blog. So as we discussed
during the meeting, it could be really cool if we aggregated specific
posts from all of our blogs to the womoz blog. Those posts would ideally
concern women in floss/mozilla/computing/related topics.
We could all use for example a "womoz" category, and all our articles in
that "womoz" category would therefore be aggregated to the womoz blog
and appear there (so the womoz blog would become more like a womoz planet).

I'm still trying to find a plugin for Wordpress that does that (i.e.
aggregating blog posts according to their specific category) so if
anyone knows already please let me know! :P
I can then take care of aggregating your blogs onto the womoz blog.

This could potentially deliver much more content to our blog as well as
help to give women and womoz more visibility.

Another idea discussed during the meeting that we should probably put
into place: we could set weekly "writing assignments". They shouldn't
take more than 5 minutes to do and could be done like every Friday, as
Lukas suggested during our last meeting.

After that, the goal would be to get the WoMoz blog syndicated on Planet
Mozilla to get even more visibility (with more content on it than now, I
think we can get it up there really easily).

If you agree we can start this week and the "writing assignment" could
be: 3 things you think were hard or that you didn't like when you joined
os / mozilla, and that could be improved? (or whatever - suggestions
welcome. This is just an idea to get things started…)
I've opened up a section so we can all add topic ideas for further
writing assignments:
http://womoz.org/wiki/doku.php?id=todo_list#ideas_for_writing_assignments
Anyone is encouraged to edit the wiki and add ideas in this section.
We can try to chose a different idea every week and put it up somewhere
on the wiki.

We also said we'd create a list of specific questions for the video and
written interviews of womoz contributors:
http://womoz.org/wiki/doku.php?id=todo_list#ideas_for_interview_questions
Again, feel free to add ideas and questions there too.

* About the next womoz irc meeting :
Since we'll be holding working sessions this upcoming week-end at
fosdem, I suggest our next womoz irc meeting be 2 weeks after fosdem ->
by then we'll have published all info related to the the fosdem meetings
and to the roadmap, and the people who can't attend fosdem meetings will
have had enough time to read and think it all over as well.
So during our next irc meeting we can take the opportunity to do an
overview of our fosdem meetings and roadmap, see if you have anything to
add or anything you wish to discuss about that, and start getting into
action according to the roadmap.
Since we'll also be discussing more about the surveys during fosdem we
can talk about that too during the next irc meeting.
Everyone is also encouraged to edit the Notes for irc meetings on the
Mozilla Wiki, to add any suggestions or topics you'd like to discuss
during the meetings:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/WoMoz/StatusMeetings
(for this time AND for next meetings)

* Concerning all upcoming womoz meetings:
is 9am pst ok? (so 17utc) instead of 10am pst? During last meeting, IRC
attendants were ok so I want to check here too
If it's ok, we'll hold our next meeting starting next time

Lot's of info I know, but womoz is growing so if we want to continue to
rock n' roll we've got work to do! ;)

Waiting for your input!

thanks
Delphine
